Kegan Paul!

Yesterday, Kegan and I did not have a very good day. Kegan is normally a little mischievous,

but a very sweet boy. Yesterday, he was slightly destructive and into everything! It all started in the morning when they were playing outside. I was inside folding laundry, but could see out the window. It started to rain, so I went to call the kids in. I noticed our realtor sign was broken, which they know better not to touch. Kegan fesses up and I ask him if he hit it with something and he replies, " no, I just pulled it off REALLY hard! " So, when I thought the drama was over for the day, I decided to take the kids for a walk and bike ride to grandmas to feed the cat. While I am in the house cleaning the litter box, I hear Ky in the house calling for bitty, the cat. No big deal. Then I hear from Ky, " Mama, um....I have something very important to tell you." I reply, " Yes?" Ky replies, " Kegan and Kaylin ripped grandma's door" So, I drop what I am doing and run to the door, sure enough he had ripped it. I asked him what he had ripped the door with. Kegan replies, " With Uncle Josh's sword, but I threw it in the bushes." This is a big sword, I didn't know it was out, but I am really surprised he could lift it? Anyway, I was thankful that he didn't hurt himself or Kaylin. I was a little relieved when he went to bed last night........=) Anyone else have days like this?

Summer

Hello everyone! Seems like we have been completely out of the loop, well we have! =) Summer time is so fun, but so busy! Feels like it was just the 4th of July, but it is almost August We are getting ready for a move to Oklahoma on September 1. We are excited, but sad to leave friends in Kansas. This moving around thing is getting harder and harder! Most of our days are spent homeschooling in the morning and then swimming in the afternoon. Yes, I said homeschooling and it has actually been fun to spend that time with the boys. I think they enjoy the one on one time that they get to.

This weekend, we went to a marriage conference sponsored by the Army. The main speaker, Mark Gungor was hilarious! It was really informative but also funny! I really enjoyed it and Jeremy loved it! He was rolling in his chair a few times. Check it out! His website is http://www.laughyourway.com/

Jeremy and I on our getaway weekend!

The deployment and being separated is finished! It is such a relief that he is home safe and that our family is complete again. God is so good, he brought Jeremy home on our anniversary! We are amazed and thankful for what God has sustained us through and protected us from. We took the kids to the park last night and watched the kids play and ride their bikes, it was such a blessing! On our way back, I thought about how many times I have taken for granted being able to take my kids to the park, most kids in Iraq, or other countries for that matter, have never seen a park. I am also thankful that Jeremy was able to go over there and accomplish the things they did. They got a school up and running, played soccer with kids in the neighborhood, and provided protection for the families that are trying to make a better life for themselves. Please continue to pray for the soldiers still over there and their mission.

Springish....

Well, I say springish....because the weather changes here like crazy. Yesterday it was sunshine and 53 degrees, today very cloudy and 39 degrees. I start class again on March 3, so I wanted to post again and keep everyone updated because class tends to take up all of my computer time. Kyran and Kegan have recently discovered PBS Kids online and Disney, so they are allotted time during the day too. Amazing to think that a five and four year old can play games on the computer!

We are planning out March and trying to keep busy the last month Jeremy is gone! It truly is amazing that 13 months has come and gone, but in some respects also seems like time has gone slow. St Patrick's Day and Easter will help keep us busy and we are planning activities on Saturdays. For Easter, I am singing in the choir and I have enjoyed that time getting to know new ladies that are on the choir. Starting traditions for your family in the Army has proven to be difficult, but God knows our hearts and will help us persevere.

Soccer will start again soon, so that will get some energy out of Kyran and Kegan. We also plan to start swimming at the Y on Saturdays! Kids are quiet, have to run!

An Update

Just wanted to give you all a quick update to the Mutart Family. First of all, sorry for the lack of posts, life seems to get busier and busier. Christmas was good, a little sad with Jeremy being gone, but we made it through. God taught me that rejoicing does not depend on our circumstances and depends all on our hope in Him! We had a crazy ice storm in December and was without power for 3 days, but we ended up being alright. Grandma(Veta) is an expert at compromise.....me not so much, but I try. =) Jeremy is doing well and seems to be in pretty good spirits now that is less then 90 days and he will be home! =) We cant wait! Kids are doing well and getting so big! I have noticed that Kegan has been shooting up lately and has really gotten to look like a little boy and not so much my baby boy anymore. He is a sweet heart and has the cutest dimples! =) Kaylin is talking more then the chatty dolls ever did and is busy keeping up with her brothers. Kyran is doing well in school and is very busy. He keeps us going, soccer season will start in the spring, so that will help! The boys cant wait until daddy comes home to do "man stuff" as they call it! Kaylin always wants to talk to daddy on the phone......hilarious! On another note.....we have gotten a bit of information on Jeremy's next assignment. Looks like we are moving further south to Oklahoma. My first reaction was, " What is in Oklahoma?" I am trying to be positive about this whole thing, it was a total shock to us. I know that God has His hand over all of this, so I am really not worried, just not really looking forward to another move. On a positive note....we will be closer to Josh and Kendrie in TN and Jeremy will not have to go back to Iraq, which is why we were looking for another assignment. I will keep you updated on Jeremy coming home and let you know when he is home. Thank you all for praying for him, I know he has felt them in many ways!
